The Every1 Club is bringing back the Smith United Variety Show for their second annual National Youth Violence Prevention Week, which will be held April 7-11. The show, which is on April 10, caps off a week of schoolkids events that''ll be open to all students. They are also bringing back the Day of Hope, which was held on Valentine's Day last year. Anyway, auditions for the Variety Show will be Tuesday and Wednesday after school on the media center. All and any acts are welcome. See Ms. Steele for signups and more info. The Boys Varsity Baseball team loses their first game of the season against Southeast: 8-0.
Congrats to Alexis Hester and Christian Dines. They participated in the State FBLA Leadership Conference and received medals. They both were finalists in the Networking and Spreadsheet Competitive Events. Congrats to both of them.

Hey, guys. Kenneth here. I hope all is doing well and warm. if your power is out, I really hope it comes back on soon. At the school earlier today and it looked fine. A tree in the courtyard split in half due to ice. A branch fell on the road leading into the student parking lot (near the football stadium). A branch fell near the home side at football but other than that the school's fine. Stay Warm, Safe, and Dry and hopefully I''ll see you on Monday when the high is going to be 64.
